Class Reunion

The Angier high school class of 1961 held our reunion last night , maybe our last. The event was attend by27 of the original 52 . I was surprised by the # of classmates who had died since we left school there are 17 of them or about a third. There are about half of us living within 25 miles of Angier , the rest are scatter around the country . The ole tale are still being told , with a few of the details embellished. My friend James brough his first wife Ann he said she was the only one woman  would put up with him . There were a lot of stories and warm remembrances I enjoyed the time , but I think maybe we will move to an informal gathering in the future.

I received word this morning that an old friend and supervisor from work passed away last night. Bob Chisholm was a good man and he will be missed by everyone who new him . I worked for him during my short stay in Shelby and enjoyed him and his style.Another good man has gone! The funeral will be another reunion of sorts.

We are going to visit Daisy today for lunch , always a pleasant trip , but a lot of riding.

Life is good!
