Is time to take Lucky the cat for his annual check up. Simple right well it is not simple. Lucky is a 16lb tom cat who don't know he is a cat. We found him in the woods when he was just opening his eyes and he has been part of our family for 5 years. The drill to get him to the vet takes some planing . First thing to know is , he don't like to go to the vet . Next thing is taking him in your arm and walking into the vet office is not an option. The week before his appointment I bring his carrier into the house and sit it in a corner. He immediately goes into hiding , after a day or so he comes out but give the carrier lots of room.
The day of the appointment i get him in the same room as the carrier and close off the rest of the house . I don a denim jacket and the fun begins. I must say the next ten minutes are fit for a home video . Once at the vet he does not make any friends because he hiss at the folks most of the time he is there. Once back home and the carrier is removed from his sight all is forgiven.
VJ & I have become attached this animal and we would be sad if he were not with us .
Vj is doing well and looking forward to the holidays which are just around the corner.
Life is good!
