Moving On

Summer is not here yet and it is hot-hot and dry. I guess it will be that kind of  weather year .

The only folks who have looked at our house since it has been on the market called the realtor and ask if we would accept a contingency contract on our house while they try to sell their house. We thanks them for there interest , but declined there offer. We are seeing the worst real estate market in 50 years and I am not sure if this house will sell , but  we will sell on our terms.Still not sure hat we will do if the place sells.

I have given notice , that I am leaving the hospital BOC at the end of my term in September . I made the decision some time ago , but waited until June to give notice . I gave the chairman my letter on the 24th of may and never hear from him so on June 1  I releases the letter to the rest of the board. In a few days JRS called and started the conversation by tell me about the problem he is having with his business and life in general. I waited and he got around to my resignation and started by saying he hoped it was nothing he had said . I think the world of this guy , but it is all about him sometime . We had a nice conversation and I have not heard from since , normally I hear from him several times ever week. My intent is to slip quietly into the night . I found my self violating my own rule "if you not happy doing what your are doing , change what you are doing"

Vj & the cat are both waiting for me to finish this rant and visit with them , so I am finished for today.
