I am getting lazy about many thing or is I am not interested in some of the thing I thought important.Vj has complete the first phase of the Diamebon trial and has move on to the open label portion . I think I notice an improvement in her alertness and maybe some small change in energy . She will start on tetrabenazine on 8/23 , should help the movements which have increase some over the past six months.She will have cataract surgery next week which will help her , because she can't see at all out of her right eye. I spoke to another husband who's wife also has HD , he said she to had cataracts at a very young age and both her sisters who also had HD suffered cataract at a young age interesting , but the MD's say there is not a connection to HD ?? make you wonder.We decided against back surgery for the time being , going the pain management route.
Vj and I think we want to sell this house and get into a condo , maybe the coast or even Charleston. This is not the time to sell real estate , but we will see what thing look like in the spring .All of the folks we know are in this town , but we didn't know a sole when we got here 25 years ago. The other side of that is when we got here we were much younger and coming into a place were my work family was and is the big fish in the pond so that was a big help with meeting people.Today we may look for a senior community , time does have a way of changing things . I got a news letter from the chamber of commerce yesterday and they are planing 40 year celebration next month and the picture they use was myself and two more men from 1994 , I had all my hair and it was the original color .
We are making progress at the hospital finally got good folks in place to run the thing and cleared up an issue that had been dragging on use for 24 months. I never say never but 10/11 I am finished with my hospital service. Time for new blood.
Time for a little exercise and out to lunch , golf tomorrow and Sat.
